After an inspection report, La Línea Vertical Petroleum Services can carry out ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, as well as improvements, on industrial chimneys in any of these lines of work:

• Definition of anti-acid or thermal protection for current working conditions.
• Monitoring of the stability and verticality of the outer shaft
• Concrete repairs with reinforcement anti-corrosion treatments, carbonation level control and application of protective exterior coatings
• Provisional access, if necessary, to areas of the chimney at risk of instability, to secure platforms or installations.

Dismantling works

La Línea Vertical Petroleum Services also collaborates with the dismantling of large chimneys of thermal power plants, refineries… We have rescue and emergency teams, as well as groups of specialist technicians, who support certain tasks of special risk.

Crown repair

The upper part of the chimney is probably the most exposed to corrosion and acid damage and, at the same time, one of the most complex to act on as there are no safe work areas. La Línea Vertical Petroleum Services installs removable platforms around it, on which repairs can be carried out safely and efficiently.

These are highly specialized jobs, generally within 24 hours to optimize the downtime of the chimney, in which our extensive experience ensures our clients a good result in terms of time, deadlines and costs.

Interior refractory repairs

The interior refractory ducts to transport gases can be repaired with different materials, such as bricks, special concrete, fibers, anti-acid systems or resins. La Línea Vertical Petroleum Services performs this type of access with rope positioning techniques or with standard or special motorized suspended platforms.

Our qualified technical teams can apply the brick repair manually, or perform pressure concrete spraying.
