Flare stack
Flare stack are a fundamental part of the safety of the petrochemical and refining industries. The good condition and operation of the same, must be ensured with a plan of periodic review of all its elements.
Access by rope positioning techniques with vertical work equipment, increasingly advanced and safe, allow the expert personnel of La Línea Vertical Petroleum Services to access with few means and great speed to any area of the flare stack. The following techniques that we apply in our company, stand out as most useful in flare stack inspections:
- Visual inspection by people or drones
- Technical inspection of ultrasonic shaft and process lines (climbers)
- Measurement of cable tension and study of the verticality of the flare stack.
- Magneto inductive analysis of cables, calculating the breakage of wires and the decrease of midsection due to phenomena such as corrosion
